中国国家博物馆位于北京市中心天安门广场东 侧，东长安街南侧，与人民大会堂相对称布局， 是一座系统展示中华民族悠久文化历史的综合 性博物馆。中国国家博物馆在原中国历史博物 馆和原中国革命博物馆的基础上组建而成，于 2003 年 2 月 28 日正式挂牌成立。

National Museum of China is at the south of Chang'an street , east to Beijing Tian'anmen Square, facing the Great Hall of the People. It illustrates the long and resplendent history and culture of our country. National Museum of China was established on Feb 28, 2003, based on the former Museum of Chinese Revolution.
